El Gringo Sabe was born in Virginia, in a season of life that demanded both responsibility and courage. While helping care for my family, I found myself at a crossroads—working a conventional office job, doing everything “right,” yet feeling deeply unfulfilled.
With an MBA from the University of Maryland and experience at the Department of Justice, I realized something important: credentials alone don’t create meaning. Purpose does.
So I took a leap.
El Gringo Sabe is my way of building something real—something joyful, cultural, and bold. It’s a celebration of language, humor, identity, and the beautiful chaos that comes from crossing worlds. This brand exists to make you smile, feel seen, and wear something that actually means something.
The logo you see started as a candid photo taken by a friend—raw, unplanned, and real—then transformed into what became the face of the brand. Much like the journey itself.
Above all, this brand is guided by faith and purpose. I strive to live by the words of St. Catherine of Siena:
“Be who God created you to be, and you will set the world on fire.”

My Story
How El Gringo Sabe Was Born
In 2015, I clocked in at Chipotle and walked straight into full Spanish immersion.
The kitchen spoke Spanish, the speakers blasted reggaeton, salsa, and bachata. The energy was loud, fast, and full of life—and somewhere between scooping arroz blanco and trying to keep up with the lyrics, I fell in love.
Not just with the language—but with the culture.
From that moment on, Spanish became part of my daily life. Later, a show called La Casa de Papel sealed the deal. The Spanish accent, the slang, the confidence—I loved it so much! For nearly a decade now, I have continued to learn, speak, sing, and dance the Latina American way and this brand reflects just that.
