HELPING HISPANIC MOTHERS WITH PREGNANCY
There are many issues we face as a society, but the safety of a mother and her born or unborn child is an important issue to me. The Tepeyac Center helps with this safety and process and so I give 10% of my profits each month to them.
Thank you, Tepeyac Center for all you do to support the beautiful lives of babies and women you serve!

Ongoing Assistance Throughout Your Pregnancy Journey
Success Story - Alicia
Alicia’s journey with Centro Tepeyac began on the recommendation of a friend. Eager to become a mother again, she sought guidance from our center. However, despite her hopes, her pregnancy tests consistently came back positive, but she was never actually pregnant.
“I went to Centro Tepeyac because a friend suggested it. I really wanted to be a mom again, but my pregnancy tests always said I was pregnant when I wasn’t,” shares Alicia.
Upon consulting with one of our client advocates, Alicia received clarity regarding her situation. While her tests were negative once more, the client advocate recognized the need for further investigation. Through Centro Tepeyac’s connections, Alicia was referred to another clinic where she was diagnosed with a hormone problem.
“I got treatment, and finally, I got the good news—I was pregnant!” exclaims Alicia with joy.
Returning to Centro Tepeyac, Alicia found ongoing support as she embarked on her prenatal journey. Our center facilitated her enrollment in prenatal care and invited her for nutrition classes, which were invaluable during her pregnancy.
“My baby was born, and they’ve always been there for me with things I need. I thank God for Centro Tepeyac’s help!” expresses Alicia gratefully.
Throughout Alicia’s experience, Centro Tepeyac stood as a beacon of support, guiding her through the complexities of her journey to motherhood. We are profoundly grateful to have been part of Alicia’s story, witnessing the joy of new life and the transformative power of support and care.
Tepeyac History
Centro Tepeyac was founded under the patronage of Our Lady of Guadalupe, who appeared to Mexican peasant Juan Diego on Tepeyac Hill near Mexico City in 1531. This apparition coincided with the Aztecs’ end of human sacrifice, making Our Lady a champion for the right to life.
In 1990, a group of local citizens became aware that the abortion industry was targeting the Hispanic population in the Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, DC areas. Abortion clinics had begun an intensive campaign to promote their practices through Spanish radio and newspaper ads. These campaigns exploited the needs of vulnerable migrant populations, who had nowhere to turn when faced with an unexpected pregnancy. Someone needed to truly care for this population, as Our Lady did with Juan Diego in 1531.
Centro Tepeyac stepped forward to defend the dignity of life, providing resources for pregnant Hispanic women and standing in solidarity with all mothers. Located in Silver Spring, MD, our center provides aid across the entire DMV region. Our services are fully bilingual so we can offer free pregnancy tests, client advocacy, diapers, and baby supplies to help every woman who comes to us.
